A Day of Action
Climate March will take place on Saturday, April 29 in
Washington, DC. The March will bring solutions to the climate crisis, the
problems that affect our communities and the threats to peace to Congress to demand action.

In fact, if you are black or brown or low-income, you're more likely to live in
a neighborhood that's unsafe. One in three LGBTQ people identify as people of color.
LGBTQ Task Force is pleased to support the efforts of our good friends at
Communications Workers of America (CWA) to provide transportation from your
area to the Climate March on April 29!
will depart from the following cities:
NYC, departing at 4:00 am
VA, departing at 4:30 am
departing at 2:00 am
NJ, departing at 6:00 am
will disembark at Union Station in Washington, DC, and marchers will gather
at the fountain in Columbus Circle, which is located directly in front of Union
Station, between 9:00 and 9:40 a.m. CWA President Christopher Shelton will be
speaking at the Labor Union Stage around 10:30 a.m. in front of the Labor
Department Building. At the conclusion of this rally, all Labor Unions will
join the People's Climate Movement March and head down Constitution Avenue toward
the White House. A food box and water will be given to marchers before they
re-board their respective buses.
