Join us and build an intersectional queer movement that organizes us to integrate a race, gender, and class lens. Workshop Title: Our Votes Matter: A Know-Your-Rights Training for LGBTQIA+ Voters, September 12, 7 PM ET

Join the National Lawyers Guild President and voting rights advocate, Ría Thompson-Washington (they/she), for a Know-Your-Rights training designed to teach activists, community members, and organizers how to support voters experiencing harassment or harm while voting. In an increasingly oppressive organizing landscape, we are watching as everyday people utilize voting as a means of protest and participation in the political process. This training will cover tips and tools that LGBTQIA people can utilize as tactics when tensions at the polls become heightened.
